Photo Redesign Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
In this example, I redesigned two photos. One was a stock image from Pexel, called Bangkok Cars. I used Photoshop's feature, tilt shift, to imitate miniature photography.
In this image, I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I took a photo of myself, and traced it with the pen tool in Illustrator. I did that for the University of Texas at Austin's UT Tower, and the University of North Texas' Hurley Administration building. I placed them at my back, symbolizing the importance of each university contributing to what I have become, as I look forward to the future.
In this image, I used Adobe Illustrator. I took a photo of the Hurley administration and traced it using Illustrator. I created two logos, one formal and one informal, called Helpful Hurley.
Internal and External Documents using Indesign
At the Research and Innovation Office, I was tasked with redoing some staff information sheets. I decided to make them into flyer-friendly forms. I followed the UNT style guide to create these documents.
I was also tasked with creating a interesting flyer for a graduate student fair. I decided to make the flyer in black and white, and adhered to NSF's style guide and logo use requirements.
White Papers and Landscape Report
I transferred from Austin Community College to the University of Texas during my undergraduate career. Going from school to school helped me appreciate and notice differences between the universities and their workplaces. When I came to the University of North Texas in Denton, I noticed that the university had no college-wide running events.
As a person with severe hearing loss, I'm aware of situations that may be easy tasks can be challenges or difficulties for other people with disabilities. Aids that assist abled-body people as well can create a larger market and more competition, creating more affordable aids for people with disabilities. One of these challenges is house trash can outdoor removal and pickup.
At the Research and Innovation Office, I created a Landscape report on other college sites that had research connect in their title.
